Breaking The Habit
People are creatures of habit. We do what we know and we take a certain amount of comfort in the routine, relying on that routine to add a certain level of certainty to our lives. When that lends to our comfort and ability to function in the world and deal with others in a beneficial and cooperative fashion its a good thing. When it stifles our creativity and prevents us from enjoying and reveling in the unexpected it isn't That's true whether its our careers, our relationships and even our games. Breaking habits and trying new things can lead to unexpected pleasures, new outlooks, and a wider set of experiences. That's true when we play MTG as well as in the other aspects of our lives.

Why You Should Be Playing Online (Or Maybe Why You Shouldn’t)
I have to admit at the outset that I am a recent convert to the ranks of online players of MTG. I resisted for a good many years for a good many reasons. For one thing I didn’t want to split my limited budget for gaming between the paper version and the online version, I didn’t want to get caught up in countless hours on an online game, and I wasn’t sure that I would even like it. A month in it’s a decision that I’m glad I made and if you’re sitting on the fence like I was then this post is for you.

What's Missing From MTG Online? The Middle!
A few weeks ago I finally broke down and decided to give MTG Online a try and overall I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised. There is something vital missing, though, and I think its inclusion into the game would be a boon to many casual players.
